"Delivery of submissions is targeted for Wednesday February 29 – Sunday March 4."

David says: After looking up the submission date, realizing I only have two days to shoot, getting a model (who was not ready until the next day, pushing everything to the final due date), finding a begonia plant that had flowers (they are out of season, out of twenty places I called, one had a plant with flowers), picking up Eric, digging trenches with Eric, then driving Eric back home, driving to The Garden Company, finally shooting, driving home, editing, and turning in the photos by the end of the due date via e-mail, I received this e-mail back the next day: "I'm really sorry but your message didn't come through until this morning. The committee met yesterday 3/4 at 4pm to select the top four submissions. Although it wasn't that specific in the instructions that the art needed to be in before 4pm, I still cannot accept your submission at this late time. I really wish you would have contacted me prior to Sunday and I could have told you your art needed to be in before 4pm. Sorry, you cut it a bit to close and missed the mark. Please consider submitting art next year."
